Serei Saophoan Cambodia Best Western Hotel
The islands of Koh Rong in the Gulf of Thailand have become increasingly popular in recent years with their pristine beaches and are among the most pristine beaches. The area is home to a number of attractions, and travelers flitting between the two can pass through Kampong Thom, as it is located at the intersection of two of Cambodia's most popular tourist destinations - the Khao San Road and the Khon Kaen River.
Another way to reach Sra'aem is to take a bus from Siem Reap to Preah Vihear City and then take the second stage to Sras. Travelers with limited time and patience can simply hire a taxi or book a tour to reach Siem Reap from Battambang, the capital of Cambodia's southernmost province, Khon Kaen. Taxi can be arranged by CBT staff in SiemReap or Battamang and booked for about 120 USD each way into and out of the city. The hotel's designated Experience Butlers offer a wide range of adventures, including a two-night stay at the Khao San Road Hotel in Kampong Thom and a day trip to Koh Rong Island in the Gulf of Thailand.
Prices for hotels and flights are the most expensive, but accommodation and other accommodations can be slightly cheaper and you can save by buying well in advance. Tuk - Tuks are everywhere and finding the way back to the hotel should not be a problem, although a late night drive can cost an extra $1. The Kompong Thom hotel guest house can easily be arranged for you to make the trip from Siem Reap to Sra'aem and back in a few hours or even a few days.

We started our day with a visit to Angkor Tm at the hotel for breakfast, but today you have to put on your sneakers, wear an insect spray and shout at the sun until 8 am when you visit one of Cambodia's most famous temples, the Royal Palace. Other notable attractions in the area include Phnom Penh National Park and the Khmer National Museum. Because of its remoteness, this site is far off the tourist trail and sees few visitors compared to the temples in Angkor. We started the day at around 7 a.m. to visit Ang Khao Thom, a small village about 30 minutes from the city center.
Afterwards we visited the Khmer National Museum and Phnom Penh National Park and then returned to our hotel for lunch and dinner.
We covered 45 km and reached Beng Mealea from Siem Reap in about one hour, which puts us directly on the tourist trail. The hotel is located west of the city centre and there is a wildlife reserve near Nokor Phnom in the village of Roung Dam Rei.
The spa offers couples a package of traditional Khmer remedies and massages in their richly equipped rooms, including breakfast in bed in the Landmark category mentioned above. The restaurant is excellent and the food is prepared according to traditional recipes and cooking methods and served in a replica stilt house. Traditional methods are used, including hand-peeled rice, sesame oil, rice vinegar and rice wine. Guests have access to the sister hotel Shinta Mani Resort, located just down the street, whose fine cuisine is a highlight.
Serei Saophoan, in Khmer, glorious and promising, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Cambodia and the capital of the district of Angkor Borei. East of the city of Angkor's Boreis District is the 11th-century temple, which stands on a low hill. The spectacular Angksor Wat, which anticipated the construction of its modern temple by more than 100 years, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004.
Landmarks include Angksor Temple, the Royal Palace and the Jewel Buddhas of Angkor Wat. One of the sights of the province is the AngKor temple in Phnom Chisor, from which one has a beautiful view of the local rice fields. Phnam Srei offers the best views of the region's landscape, while Serei Saophoan is considered a good holiday destination due to its proximity to the Cambodian capital Siem Reap.
